Steamboat Springs 1:22 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a suspicious car in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue. People in a black Subaru reportedly were in the area earlier trying to start a fight, and the car had returned. Police talked to the people and took one person from the Subaru to detox.
6:32 a.m. Police were called to a report of a suspicious person in the 500 block of South Lincoln Avenue. Deputies arrested a 27-year-old Denver man on suspicion of driving under the influence and DUI per se.
7:13 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to a report of a fire alarm in the 2200 block of Ski Time Square Drive.
9:13 a.m. Yampa Ambulance emergency responders and deputies were called to a request for an ambulance in the Yampa area.
9:41 a.m. Police were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash at Walton Creek Road and Lincoln Avenue.
10:45 a.m. Deputies arrested a 50-year-old Oak Creek man on a warrant at the Routt County Jail.
11:13 a.m. Police were called to a complaint about a dog loose in the 900 block of Confluence Court. Officers issued a warning.
12:05 p.m. Police were called to a request for an officer at 13th Street and Lincoln Avenue. Officers checked the serial number on a bicycle.
12:07 p.m. Deputies, Colorado State Patrol troopers and Hayden Police Department officers were called to a complaint about a car weaving at U.S. Highway 40 and Steamboat II. Deputies arrested a 57-year-old Steamboat woman on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs and weaving.
12:10 p.m. Police were called to a report of a two-car hit-and-run crash in the 1900 block of Bridge Lane.
12:31 p.m. Deputies and troopers were called to a report of a car that hit a power pole at Colorado Highway 131 and Routt County Road 35. A power line was in the road.
1:16 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue and police were called to a request for an ambulance on the Yampa River Core Trail. A woman in her 40s reportedly had a broken wrist at the Howelsen tunnel.
1:29 p.m. Police were called to a report of possible fraud in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue where a person wanted a room refunded to a different credit card that was not under the guest’s name.
1:30 p.m. Police were called to a gas skip in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza. A few minutes later, the person returned and paid for the gas.
2:04 p.m. A woman reported to police that a man exposed himself to her at a restaurant in the 800 block of Oak Street in July 2009.
2:30 p.m. Police were called to a report of a lost dog at Yampa Valley Medical Center. The 3-pound Chihuahua was found 11 minutes later.
4:34 p.m. Deputies were called to a complaint about an animal on Routt County Road 129. No more information was available.
4:34 p.m. Police and deputies were called to a complaint about a car crash at Lincoln Avenue and Fourth Street. One of the drivers drove away on C.R. 129. There were no injuries.
5:23 p.m. Police were called to a complaint about vandalism in the first block of Anglers Drive. Officers determined there was no damage and that it was a civil situation.
8:33 p.m. Police were called to a report of threats in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. Two juvenile girls in a restaurant reportedly were arguing about $10, and one girl threatened to hurt the other. Officers warned the girls.
8:38 p.m. Deputies and troopers were called to a report of a car that hit a deer near mile marker 3 on C.R. 129. No people were injured.
10:57 p.m. Twentymile Mine Ambulance responders were called to a request for an ambulance.
