❱❱ Halloween Stroll — Downtown Steamboat Springs, 5 to 7 p.m.

Lincoln Avenue will be closed downtown from Fifth Street to 11th Street for the annual Halloween stroll for children and families to go from business to business collecting holiday treats. Parking is suggested at Howelsen Hill with access to Lincoln Avenue via the Fifth Street or Ninth Street bridges. Call 970-846-1800.

❱❱ Halloween dinner — St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 5 to 8 p.m.

The church will serve dinner to spooks and goblins and their parents. Come in through the patio between Lowell Whiteman Primary School and the church to warm up, eat chili and trimmings, and enjoy some inside time during and after the Downtown Halloween Stroll. FREE. ❱❱ Festival O’ Pumpkins — Routt County Courthouse lawn, 5:30 p.m.

Registration begins at 3:30 p.m. for the Steamboat Springs Arts Council’s pumpkin carving contest. Bring in your pumpkins and candles from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., and bystanders will choose the winners from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Call 970-879-9008.
