Steamboat Springs Mike Pivarnik is the newest broker/associate at Colorado Group Realty.
Pivarnik comes with a background of 20 years as a commercial banker with PNC Financial and S&T Bank and five years as the chief financial officer of a privately held oil and gas company. He currently is the managing trustee of the Richard E. Fox Charitable Foundation, which gives scholarships to students of free market economics. He holds a Bachelor of Science in mineral economics and an MBA, both from Penn State.
Patrice Steinke earns appraisal designation
Patrice Steinke, of Elliott Appraisal Services, has been awarded the Appraisal Institute’s SRA designation, which is held by professional appraisers involved in valuation and analysis of residential real estate.
The SRA designation is earned upon the successful completion of a graduate-level curriculum, which includes a written demonstration appraisal report and attaining 3,000 hours of qualifying experience requirements. Steinke has been a real estate appraiser for more than 12 years and has been involved in the real estate profession in Steamboat Springs since 1986.
Brian Olson earns ccim real estate designation
Brian Olson, of Prudential Steamboat Realty and Olson Development, has become the first member of the Steamboat real estate community to earn the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation this month at the CCIM Institute’s annual business meeting in Orlando, Fla.
CCIMs are recognized experts in commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, asset management, valuation and investment analysis. Six percent of the estimated 150,000 commercial real estate practitioners nationwide hold the CCIM designation.
Brian is also the president and owner of Olson Development and has been active in the Steamboat development community since 1993. He has played an instrumental role in various development projects across Steamboat including Alpine Mini Storage, The Pines at Orehouse Plaza, Aviator and others.
Coldwell Banker staffers attend Denver conference
About 1,000 Coldwell Banker real estate agents and staffers, with a Steamboat contingent among them, recently gathered at Invesco Field for the annual Colorado Business Conference to discuss the local, regional, national and international real estate market and trends. The event focused on networking agents from the Front Range with agents in mountain markets.
President of Network Communications Adam Japko discussed the many ways social media is changing the way real estate is being done.
