Frances Wither has family in almost every day to see her, and Carol Rickman has family in to see her on a regular basis, as well.
Betty Pierce’s daughter-in-law was in the other day to visit with her. Darlene Cantrell has family in about every day.
Students from Strawberry Park Elementary School came into the Doak for their art class Wednesday.
Kate and Jim Novak went to Washington, D.C., recently and were delayed because of the nasty weather. We all hope they had a safe return to Colorado.
We welcome some new people into the Doak and wish best luck to the ones who are leaving.
Joke of the week
An old man goes to the doctor for his yearly physical, his wife tagging along. When the doctor enters the examination room, he tells the old man, “I need a urine sample, a stool sample and a sperm sample.”
The old man, who was hard of hearing, looks at his wife and yells, “What did he say? What does he want?”
His wife yells back, “He needs your underwear.”
