— The Hayden football team beat Meeker on the road Friday, winning, 48-16. With a win next week against Lake County, a 7 p.m. home game in which Hayden will be heavily favored, the Tigers can lock up second place in the Western Slope League and a playoff spot for the first time since 2007.
