— Ulrich Salzgeber, of Buyer’s Resource Real Estate, received the Realtor of the Year award at the Steamboat Springs Board of Realtors annual luncheon Sept. 17 at Catamount Ranch & Club. Lori Thompson, last year’s recipient, presented the award to Salzgeber.

“Ulrich embodies Realtor principles through his active service on committees and as 2010 president of the board,” Thompson said. “He gives time to the community while leading the local board through the rough decision-making process in the real estate market of today.”

Recognized for her volunteer work as Affiliate Partner of the Year was Shauna Cagnoni, retail banker with Wells Fargo Bank. Cagnoni has served as Affiliate Partnership Council director and 2010 Affiliate Partnership Council president.

Suellyn Godino and Michelle Diehl, both with Prudential Steamboat Realty, each received Distinguished Service Awards for their leadership roles on special committees.

Amy Dorsey, past president of the Colorado Association of Realtors from Vail, installed Godino as 2011 chairwoman of the Steamboat Board. In addition to Godino, Dorsey swore in:

■ State director: Adam Bleesz, Ski Town Lifestyle Properties

■ Past president and state director: Ulrich Salzgeber, Buyer’s Resource Real Estate

■ Appointed past president: Jill Limberg, Prudential Steamboat Realty

■ Directors: Tim McCarthy, Mount Werner Realty; Pam Lindahl, MacArthur & Stine Real Estate; Donna Mae Hoots, Steamboat Real Estate; Penny Fletcher, Colorado Group Realty; Joan Hart, Steamboat Village Brokers; John James, Coldwell Banker, Distinctive Properties; and Niffy Bube, Steamboat Real Estate.

■ Board staff: Jody Condie, CEO; Tony Counts, IT director.

Stonewood clarification from Sept. 26 Real Estate

An item in the Real Estate section of the Sept. 26 Steamboat Pilot & Today gave the incorrect impression that ResortQuest Steamboat has the management contract for Stonewood Townhomes. ResortQuest manages a single unit at the luxury townhome project. Steamboat Resorts manages Stonewood at EagleRidge.
