Steamboat briefs: Register for city winter sports leagues by Thursday

Steamboat Springs — Registration is open for the city of Steamboat Springs’ adult basketball, volleyball and indoor soccer leagues. Leagues start in early January and run until early April. All teams and those looking to join a team must register by Thursday at the Parks, Open Space and Recreational Services Department office, 245 Howelsen Parkway. Symphony Orchestra has free admission to concert
The Steamboat Symphony Orchestra is providing free admission to its Holiday Concert Matinee for low-income seniors, Hospice patients, and residents of The Haven and the Doak Walker Care Center.
