12:23 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to help a man in the first block of Seventh Street. The man reportedly was kicked out of a bar but his jacket still was inside.

1:03 a.m. Police issued two tickets for open containers of alcohol at Seventh and Yampa streets.

1:27 a.m. Police stopped to help an intoxicated person at Seventh and Yampa streets and issued another ticket for open container of alcohol.

1:41 a.m. Police were called to the first block of Seventh Street and issued a ticket for public urination.

3:04 a.m. Police were called to a report of an intoxicated man walking in the middle of the road at South Lincoln Avenue and Walton Creek Road. The man was turned over to a sober friend.

7:42 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a small dog outside for some time. Deputies determined the dog was fine and cared for.

7:54 a.m. Police were called to a report of a car hit by a snow plow in the 1300 block of Walton Creek Road.

8:36 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a car that slid off the road and hit a sign near mile marker 104 on U.S. Highway 40. There were no injuries.

9:56 a.m. Police were called to a cold report of vandalism in the first block of East Maple Street. A rock reportedly was thrown through a window of a house Saturday.

11:08 a.m. Police were called to the 900 block of Pine Grove Circle. A person reportedly was having trouble getting a 3-year-old into a car seat because the child was having a tantrum.

11:53 a.m. Police were called to a complaint about a car blocking another car in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza. The car was moved.

12:09 p.m. Police were called to a complaint about a car parked in the road on Burgess Creek Road.

12:11 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of threats near Hayden. A person reported messages posted on MySpace that seemed threatening.

12:31 p.m. Police were called to a report of a disturbance in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. A business refused to sell two customers some items, and the customers were upset. Officers escorted the customers out of the business.

1:44 p.m. Police were called to a complaint about a car parked at a bus stop for two hours at Lincoln Avenue and Ninth Street. The car was gone when officers arrived.

2:11 p.m. Police were called to a complaint about a car parked at a bus stop at Lincoln Avenue and Seventh Street. The car was gone when officers arrived.

2:16 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of two mules in a field in the 27000 block of Routt County Road 14 that the caller thought were abandoned. The mules had food and water and were being cared for.

2:20 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a 16-year-old boy causing a disturbance in Yampa. Deputies took the boy for an evaluation.

2:43 p.m. Police were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash at Anglers Drive and South Lincoln Avenue.

5:03 p.m. Police were asked to clear a person for a LIFT-UP of Routt County request in the 2100 block of Curve Court.

5:33 p.m. Police were asked to check on a bicyclist on River Road in the Brooklyn neighborhood. The biker reportedly did not have a light but was gone when officers arrived.

5:35 p.m. Hayden Police Department officers were called to a report of a car crash in the 1100 block of West Jefferson Avenue in Hayden.

5:38 p.m. Police were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash in the 500 block of Seventh Street.

9:38 p.m. Police stopped to help a person at Lincoln Avenue and 10th Street and gave the person a ride to U.S. 40 and C.R. 129.

11:08 p.m. Police helped a person at Ski Time Square Drive.

You call the police when your three year old has a tantrum? Was it a 911 call? This is almost as entertaining as "the strange turd in the toilet" call!
