3:52 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a fire alarm in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court. Everything was fine; a broken sprinkler had set off the alarm.
4:23 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies, Routt County Search and Rescue and North Routt Fire Department emergency responders were called to a search at the Slavonia Trailhead in Clark. A couple that was camping had an injured dog, and officials helped them reach their car and make sure the party was safe.
7:29 a.m. Police were called to a report of vandalism on 10th Street.
1:55 p.m. Deputies were called to assist a motorist at mile marker 65 of Colorado Highway 131.
3:39 p.m. Police were called to a report of a lost wallet in downtown Steamboat.
3:42 p.m. Deputies were called to assist a motorist at U.S. Highway 40 and Colorado Highway 131.
6:29 p.m. Police were called to a report of a person selling alarm systems door to door in the 300 block of Third Street. Police contacted the salesperson and learned that the person had all the proper sales permits.
8:59 p.m. Deputies and police were called to a report of a disturbance in the 1500 block of Cascade Drive. Police arrested a 29-year-old Jackson, Fla., woman on suspicion of criminal mischief and harassment for trying to break a car window with a ski.
9:57 p.m. Deputies were called to an animal complaint in the 42000 block of Routt County Road 76.
10:22 p.m. Police, deputies and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue were called to a disturbance. A 33-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested on suspicion of harassment, theft and criminal mischief.
11 p.m. Deputies and Colorado State Patrol troopers were called to a car crash at mile marker 11 of Routt County Road 129.

It works better if you take the ski off and use your boot instead
