United Way aims to raise $10,000 on Wednesday

Routt County United Way again hopes to raise $10,000 in a single day. The second $10K Day for United Way is Wednesday at Yampa Valley Bank. The bank will match every dollar given Wednesday, to as much as $5,000.
All United Way donations stay in Routt County and are dispersed to more than 40 local health and human service nonprofit organizations. To donate, stop by Yampa Valley Bank from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday. The event also will feature a live radio remote, free food, prizes, flu shots, firefighters and fire trucks.
Routt County United Way Executive Director Kelly Stanford said the first $10K Day for United Way, held in September, raised more than $23,000.
