12:39 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to a report of a fight at Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue. Officers arrested a 28-year-old Steamboat Springs man on suspicion of second-degree assault. One person reportedly suffered a facial injury.

2:19 a.m. Police were called to a report of a disturbance in the 500 block of Ore House Plaza. Officers mediated the situation.

2:23 a.m. Police and Colorado State Patrol troopers were called to a report of two men fighting in the 2600 block of Riverside Drive. Officers arrested a 25-year-old Steamboat man on suspicion of harassment. No injuries were reported.

2:35 a.m. Police and Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a request for an officer in the 1300 block of Bob Adams Drive. Deputies gave a summons to a minor who had alcohol. Officers also took one person to detox.

3:51 a.m. Police were called to a report of an argument in the Steamboat area. Officers arrested a 22-year-old Steamboat man on suspicion of harassment.

10:29 a.m. Police were asked to check on a 62-year-old man in the Steamboat area. His brother reportedly had not heard from him and could not contact him. Officers determined the man was in jail.

11:41 a.m. Oak Creek Police Department officers and Oak Creek Fire Protection District emergency responders were called to a report of a sexual assault in Oak Creek. Police said the victim and suspect knew each other. It is under investigation.

1:27 p.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue were called to a report of a water flow alarm in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue. The alarm was false.

1:45 p.m. Deputies and Yampa Fire Protection District emergency responders were called to a request for an ambulance in the Phippsburg area for an 86-year-old man suffering complications from a previous injury. Medical crews took him to Yampa Valley Medical Center.

5:17 p.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue were called to a request for an officer in Dream Island Plaza. Someone wanted a drunken person to leave the trailer.

5:23 p.m. Police were called to a request for an officer in Central Park Plaza where a man reportedly was being mean to his dog. The man was gone when officers arrived.

5:45 p.m. Police were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash at Fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue.

6:27 p.m. Police arrested a 21-year-old Steamboat man on suspicion of violating a protection order after a traffic stop on Mount Werner Road.

6:47 p.m. Deputies and Oak Creek Fire Protection District emergency responders were called to a report of a fire on Routt County Road 16. The fire was a controlled burn and everything was fine.

7:53 p.m. Police were called to a report of a disturbance in the 3300 block of Après Ski Way. Officers arrested a 24-year-old Steamboat man on suspicion of violating bond conditions and a 24-year-old Steamboat woman on suspicion of third-degree assault.

8:59 p.m. Police were called to a complaint about a car that ran a stop sign at U.S. Highway 40 and Anglers Drive. Officers could not locate the car.

10:40 p.m. Police were called to a report of a man sleeping in his car in the 1800 block of Kamar Plaza. Officers talked to the man and determined he was sober and waiting for a friend.

10:40 p.m. Police were asked to check on a 28-year-old man who was intoxicated in an alley near 11th Street and Lincoln Avenue. The man reportedly called his mother and said he was too drunk and needed help. Officers helped the man get a hotel room for the night.
