Steamboat Springs Steamboat Springs Police Department Detective Nick Bosick will appear on the Aug. 10 Republican primary ballot in a bid for the sheriff’s race. Routt County Election Supervisor Vicki Weber said Bosick’s petition was submitted and certified this week. Bosick needed 231 signatures, and he reported that he got about double that number. Weber said she didn’t have the number of signatures certified available.
Bosick will face All Crimes Enforcement Team Cmdr. Garrett Wiggins in the primary, and the winner will face incumbent Gary Wall, a Democrat, in the November general election.
