12:02 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a request for a welfare check in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue. No more information was available.

1:21 a.m. Police were called to a report of an argument between a man and a woman, both reportedly intoxicated, in Steamboat Springs. Officers arrested a 41-year-old Steamboat woman on suspicion of harassment.

8:09 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders and police were called to a report of a fire in the 1300 block of Sparta Plaza. The smoke was from a chimney, and everything was fine.

8:27 a.m. Police took a report of a lost driver’s license. The owner needed a report to board an airplane.

9:02 a.m. Police were called to a report of construction materials in a trash container in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue. The trash reportedly fell out and made a mess in the area.

9:19 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue were called to a request for an ambulance in the Steamboat area. Medical crews took a 66-year-old woman to Yampa Valley Medical Center.

9:26 a.m. Police were called to a report of a bicycle found in the 800 block of Pine Street. The bike was reported stolen last week, and officers returned the bike to its owner. The owner did not want to pursue charges.

10:32 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a small boy, about 2 years old, on the side of U.S. Highway 40 east of Hayden near a day care facility. Deputies took the boy to his home and are investigating.

11:56 a.m. Police were called to a report of a theft of a dog. No more information was available.

12:24 p.m. Deputies were called to a complaint about a car playing loud music in the 38000 block of Mud Alley in Milner.

2:15 p.m. Oak Creek Police Department officers were called to a complaint about an animal in the 200 block of Sharp Avenue.

2:17 p.m. Police were called to a report of a dog loose in the 500 block of North Park Road. Animal control officers took the dog to the Steamboat Springs Animal Shelter.

2:23 p.m. Deputies were called to a complaint about sheep on the road in the 27000 block of Routt County Road 27 near Oak Creek.

3:06 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a wallet found in the 500 block of Anglers Drive. Deputies returned the wallet to its owner.

3:45 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of harassment in Routt County. No more information was available.

4:07 p.m. Police were called to a report of a man and a woman yelling at each other in the 1200 block of Sparta Plaza. Officers talked to the people and gave one of the people a ride.

5:07 p.m. Deputies were called to a check on a student who did not go to school for the day. Everything was fine.

5:55 p.m. Police were called to a report of an unruly customer in Kamar Plaza. Officers told the man to leave the business.

6:07 p.m. Police were called to a report of a possible protection order violation. Officers talked to the people involved and determined there was no violation.

7:57 p.m. Police were called to a report of a dog loose in the 300 block of Blue Sage Circle. Animal control officers gave the dog’s owner a warning.

11:38 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a bear in a garage in the 33000 block of Colt Trail, near Stagecoach. Deputies could not find the bear when they arrived.
