6:10 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers received a report at the police station that a suspicious person was seen each morning near 11th and Yampa streets.
7:51 a.m. Police were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash at Fourth Street and Lincoln Avenue. Officers issued a traffic ticket and a ticket for driving under restraint.
8:37 a.m. Police were called to a report of vandalism in the 1300 block of Lincoln Avenue, where workers found damage to a park bathroom door.
9:52 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a credit card being used fraudulently in the 31000 block of Broken Talon Trail near Stagecoach.
9:57 a.m. Police were called to a report of threats in the 3100 block of South Lincoln Avenue, where a person who was charged for smoking in a nonsmoking hotel room reportedly threatened the hotel staff.
11:49 a.m. Police were called to a report of a one-car, noninjury crash in the first block of Butcherknife Alley, where a car backing up reportedly slid off the road and hit a fence. Officers issued a ticket.
12:29 p.m. Police were called to a report of a runaway juvenile in the Steamboat area. The juvenile returned home later that night.
2:13 p.m. Deputies were called to a complaint about a dog chasing an elk in the first block of Elk Drive.
5:20 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of vandalism on Routt County Road 36, where a person reportedly hit a sign with a paintball.
7:50 p.m. Police were called to a request for a welfare check in Steamboat, where an 11-year-old boy riding a bus reportedly made comments about hurting himself. Officers referred the case to counselors.
8:06 p.m. Hayden Police Department officers were called to a report of a suspicious person in the 200 block of Crandell Avenue in Hayden.
10:23 p.m. Police were called to a report of a bear in the 1300 block of Bob Adams Drive. The bear reportedly tore through some trash cans and ran away when officers arrived.
11:45 p.m. Deputies arrested a 22-year-old Steamboat man on a warrant after a traffic stop at Old Fish Creek Falls Road and U.S. 40.
