Steamboat Springs Intrawest, parent company of Steamboat Ski and Resort Corp., is offering an early deal for its 2010-11 Rocky Mountain Super Pass Plus, which offers unlimited skiing and riding at Winter Park and Copper plus six days at Steamboat Ski Area next winter.
With a $49 deposit through April 5, the total price is $409, with the difference payable in September. The price is $319 for college students, $319 for those 13 to 17 years old, $219 for children age 6 to 12, and $219 for senior citizens older than 70. Visit skicolorado.com or call 1-800-977-7669.
The arrangement continues despite Intrawest’s sale of Copper to Utah-based Powdr Corp. last fall.
“Copper is thrilled to continue the relationship with Winter Park and Steamboat,” Jesse True, vice president of sales and marketing for Copper, said in a news release.
Ski Corp. executive Andy Wirth and Intrawest spokesman Ian Galbraith did not return calls seeking comment Friday.
In the release, Wirth said, "Winter Park, Copper Mountain and Steamboat are three globally recognized mountain destinations, reminding us what's best about Colorado skiing."
The pass doubles the number of friends and family discounted tickets to 20 — 10 each at Copper and Winter Park. Lift ticket discounts at other Intrawest resorts, including Whistler Blackcomb in British Columbia, come with the pass.
