12:49 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a complaint about a man riding a motorcycle without a muffler in the 3300 block of Columbine Drive. Officers could not find the man.

2:12 a.m. Police were called to a report of a drunken person in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue. A man, reportedly intoxicated, was trying to get into a closed hotel and was calling the front desk. Officers helped the man get to another hotel.

8:13 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a complaint about a car on Coyote Run Court, in Stagecoach, where a car reportedly drove past a school bus that was stopped with its lights flashing. Deputies gave the driver a summons.

8:17 a.m. Police were called to a report of a fire alarm in the 2200 block of Storm Meadows Drive. Burnt food triggered the alarm, and everything was fine.

9:06 a.m. Police were called to a complaint about a yellow lab mix loose in the 1300 block of Walton Creek Road. Animal control officers took the dog to the Steamboat Springs Animal Shelter and gave the owner a ticket.

10:40 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue was called to a request for an ambulance in the 2000 block of Après Ski Way for a ski-related injury. Medical crews took a woman in her 20s to Yampa Valley Medical Center.

11:26 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue was called to a request for an ambulance in the 2000 block of Après Ski Way for a ski-related injury. Medical crews took a woman in her 60s to YVMC.

1:14 p.m. Police and deputies were called to a report of a domestic assault in Steamboat. The suspect did not answer the door at the time, but police talked to him Wednesday morning and took him to detox. Police said they would later take him to jail on assault charges. A woman reportedly suffered some injuries but was not taken to the hospital.

1:27 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue was called to a request for an ambulance in the 2000 block of Après Ski Way, for a ski-related injury. Medical crews took a man in his 20s to YVMC.

2:25 p.m. Police were called to a complaint about a German shepherd mix that attacked another dog in the 300 block of Third Street. Officers could not find the German shepherd, and the other dog was fine.

2:29 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue was called to a request for an ambulance in the 3000 block of Burgess Creek Road. Medical crews took a man in his 50s to YVMC.

3:26 p.m. Police were called to a report of a suspicious incident in downtown Steamboat where a woman reported that she saw two women and a man walking downtown and she thought they looked suspicious. She said she did not see them do anything specifically, but she had a feeling. The three people were gone when officers arrived, but they talked to the woman who called.

3:42 p.m. Deputies were called to a complaint near mile marker 6 on Routt County Road 15, near Phippsburg, where a dead dog and cat reportedly were dumped on the side of the road.

4:01 p.m. Police were called to a request for an officer in the 800 block of Walton Pond Circle. A woman reported that her boyfriend had taken their baby’s paperwork out of town and she needed it to get a passport.

7:17 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue was called to a report of a truck on fire on U.S. Highway 40. Emergency responders determined that the owner of the truck was clearing out the exhaust, and everything was fine.

10:36 p.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue were called to a report of a drunken person in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive. Officers took the person to detox.
