Steamboat’s Paley grabs 3rd in World Cup event

Steamboat Springs — Steamboat Springs teenager Lorin Paley was third Saturday in a telemark World Cup event at Granpallars Espot, Spain.
She was third in the sprint classic race, behind Amélie Reymond, the champion, and Sandrine Meyer.
Paley improved on her second run, jumping from fifth to third.
The World Cup season wraps up next weekend with the World Cup finals in La Plagne, France.
