12:02 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident on Ingles Lane where a person reported hearing a man and woman yelling. Officers could not find the people.
12:53 a.m. Police were called to a noise complaint in the 500 block of Anglers Drive where a person reported a loud party in the building. Officers talked to the people, found the TV was playing loudly and asked the people to turn the TV down.
12:59 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a suspicious car in Phippsburg. No more information was available.
1:14 a.m. Police arrested a 35-year-old Denver man on suspicion of driving under the influence, driving under suspension and weaving after a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Walton Creek Road.
1:52 a.m. Deputies helped a driver near mile marker 64 on Colorado Highway 131.
1:57 a.m. Police were called to a request for an officer in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. Officers gave a person a courtesy ride to Riverside Drive.
3:44 a.m. Police, Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders and deputies responded to a traffic stop by police at 11th and Yampa streets. Officers arrested a 25-year-old Craig man, the driver, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of bond. Officers also arrested the 19-year-old Craig woman who was the passenger on suspicion of unlawful use of Schedule 2 drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said they found a small amount of methamphetamine and cocaine in the car.
4:35 a.m. Police were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 1000 block of Lincoln Avenue where a person reported hearing something that sounded like Morse code, possibly from a skier. Officers found that the sound was coming from a building alarm, and everything was fine.
7:13 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a one-car rollover crash on Routt County Road 14 at Yellow Jacket Drive. There were no injuries.
9:01 a.m. Deputies and West Routt Fire Protection District emergency responders were called to a request for an ambulance. Medical crews took a 55-year-old woman to detox.
9:54 a.m. Police were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 2000 block of West Acres Drive where a person reported blood on a cluster mailbox.
10:35 a.m. Police were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash at U.S. Highway 40 and Walton Creek Road.
12:08 p.m. Police were called to a report of a car broken down at Third Street and Fish Creek Falls Road. Officers directed traffic around the area until a tow truck arrived.
2:10 p.m. Deputies were called to a request for a welfare check near mile marker 58 on Colo. 131 where a person reported that several minors were in a parked car. Deputies could not find the car.
3:35 p.m. Police were called to an animal complaint in the 400 block of Seventh Street where a woman reported that an orange cat had been hanging out on the porch. The cat’s owner took the cat home.
3:39 p.m. Police were called to a report of a dog loose in the 3000 block of Village Drive. Animal control officers could not catch the dog but followed it home and planned to talk to the dog’s owner later.
5:54 p.m. Police were called to a request for an ambulance at a restaurant in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle where a 25-year-old man reportedly fell and hit his head. The man refused ambulance service.
9:57 p.m. Police were called to a report of a possible drunken driver at Third Street and Lincoln Avenue where a car reportedly almost caused a head-on accident. When officers arrived, the car was parked and they could not find the driver.
10:57 p.m. Police responded to a suspicious incident in the 700 block of Lithia Springs Road, where a car was parked in the park. Officers warned the occupants that they could not park there.
