Local company wins award for dog collar
Steamboat Springs company Spiffy Dog announced last week that Fido Friendly magazine recognized Spiffy Dog’s Air Collar as one of its “Best Pet Products of 2010.”
Spiffy Dog sales and marketing manager Kyle Nelson said in a news release that the Air Collar is made of nylon aerospacer, a lightweight, quick-drying material commonly used in running shoes and backpacks.
Nelson said the material “is perfect for water dogs because it is so quick-drying, but is also great for landlubbers as it is so comfy and does not chafe on short-haired dogs or dogs with sensitive skin.”
