8:46 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a hit-and-run crash in a parking lot in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue.

9:22 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a loose dog in the 500 block of Main Street in Yampa.

10:31 a.m. Police were called to a hit-and-run crash at Fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue. Two vehicles reportedly hit a Steamboat Springs Transit bus as it was stopped at a bus stop, knocking the mirror. As the bus driver waited for police to respond, two more cars reportedly hit the bus. A Routt County Road and Bridge pickup, a utility truck and two other cars reportedly were involved.

11:05 a.m. Police were called to a complaint about a car parked at Eighth Street and Lincoln Avenue. Officers issued a ticket.

11:13 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a trespasser in the 25000 block of Routt County Road 14. No more information was available.

11:23 a.m. Police were called to a report of a bicycle stolen from the Steamboat Springs High School. The silver BMX bike was valued at $500.

12:51 p.m. Police were called to a complaint about a vicious dog in the 500 block of Grand Street. The dog reportedly was charging an 82-year-old woman. Police could not identify the dog at the time but said they would follow up later.

12:54 p.m. West Routt Fire Protection District, Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue and Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters, along with deputies and the Routt County Emergency Management director were called to a report of a brush fire on C.R. 68. The fire was contained within about an hour and a half, and firefighters had it doused before the end of the night. The fire reportedly was started when the landowner threw down a cigarette.

1:20 p.m. Police were called to a report of cash found at Lincoln Avenue and 10th Street.

1:30 p.m. Police were called to a report of 20 prescription drug pills taken from a bedroom in the 2200 block of Val d’ Isere Drive. Police say they have a suspect and are investigating.

2:58 p.m. Police were called to a report of crime tape around a unit on Shadow Run Frontage. The caller did not know why the tape was there and wanted it removed.

3:09 p.m. Police were called to a report of a driver who did not pay for gas at a station in the first block of Anglers Drive. The theft was valued at $65.30, and police have the license plate and are looking for the owner of the truck.

6:07 p.m. Police were called to a report of an assault on Pine Street. The person did not want an ambulance, and police said everything was resolved.

6:38 p.m. Deputies were called to a request for help near mile marker 99 on U.S. Highway 40. Deputies gave a person a courtesy ride.

7:39 p.m. Police were called to a report of a car with Wyoming plates hitting construction cones near Eighth Street and Lincoln Avenue.

7:44 p.m. Police were called to a report of a semitrailer idling loudly in the 2500 block of Downhill Drive. The caller said the truck had been idling for almost three hours and did not want it to park there overnight. Officers asked the driver to move.

8 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a plane flying erratically south of Steamboat Springs.

8:33 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of people camping on private land in the 46000 block of C.R. 129 near Clark. Deputies told the people to move.

10:03 p.m. Deputies were called to a complaint about a barking dog in the 400 block of Lincoln Street in Yampa.

10:38 p.m. Police were called to a report of a bear at Aspen and Eighth streets. The bear was gone when officers arrived.
