— 12:50 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers arrested a 32-year-old Steamboat Springs man on suspicion of driving under the influence, DUI per se and careless driving after a traffic stop on Pine Grove Road.

1:09 a.m. Police were asked to check on a man laying on a bench in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. The man was taking a nap, and everything was fine.

1:52 a.m. Police were called to a noise complaint in the 2100 block of Overlook Lane. Officers issued a warning.

2:44 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of an altercation in the 27000 block of Brandon Circle. Deputies found a party, and the people involved in the altercation reportedly were gone. Deputies arrested a 19-year-old Steamboat woman on warrants for contempt of court and minor in possession of alcohol.

2:47 a.m. Police were called to a complaint of a loud party with a fire in the 2700 block of Lake Road. Police warned the people.

8:14 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of an elk on the side of the road near mile marker 65 on Colo. 131.

11:58 a.m. Oak Creek Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to a report of smoke or a fire on Blue Valley Drive.

12:01 p.m. Police were called to a report of an “open house” sign placed on private property in the 2600 block of Après Ski Way. Police determined it was placed in the right-of-way and everything was fine.

12:10 p.m. Police were called to a request for an officer in the 2500 block of Riverside Drive where a person reported that four trees and a fence were cut down from private property. There was construction in the area, and police are investigating.

12:33 p.m. Police were called to help a person who reportedly locked herself out of her home in Dream Island Plaza.

2:42 p.m. Police were called to a report of a six children running up the side of Howelsen Hill and sliding down. Officers gave them a verbal warning.

3:18 p.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue were called to a report of a disturbance in Steamboat Springs. Officers used a stun gun and arrested a 40-year-old Steamboat woman on suspicion of third-degree assault and resisting arrest. The woman reportedly was uninjured, and nobody else was injured in the incident.

6:48 p.m. Police were called to a report of people who do not live in an apartment unit using the sand volleyball courts in the 1300 block of Sparta Plaza. Police referred the issue to the complex manager.

7 p.m. Police were called to a report of a bicycle stolen from the 100 block of Spruce Street. The bike, a 1952 cruiser, was valued at $1,000.

8:45 p.m. Deputies and Hayden Police Department officers were called to a complaint about a person on a blue motorcycle speeding and passing illegally on U.S. Highway 40. Deputies arrested a 27-year-old Oak Creek man on suspicion of DUI, DUI per se and driving with an expired license.

8:50 p.m. Deputies were called to a complaint about six people setting off fireworks in the 27000 block of Winchester Trail.
