Website training session is Wednesday at CMC

Yampavalley.info is hosting a website training session from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Colorado Mountain College in Bristol Hall, Computer Lab 321. Participating organizations that want to learn how to use the new software platform and local nonprofit organizations seeking a Web presence are welcome to attend. Reservations are required. Summer season begins at Mount Werner on Friday

Steamboat Ski and Resort Corp. will begin its summer season Friday and launch its opening weekend with the annual Free Family Fun Fest on Saturday.

Summer activities on Mount Werner include the Coca-Cola Adventure Zone in Gondola Square, gondola rides for hiking and biking and dining at Thunderhead Lodge. Adventure Zone activities are free from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, and children younger than 12 can ride the gondola for free and adults pay half price.

Trail openings on the mountain begin Friday and will expand as conditions allow, according to a Ski Corp. news release. Summer activities continue through Labor Day. Visit www.steamboat.com/calendar for details.
