12:03 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers arrested a 34-year-old Littleton man on suspicion of driving under the influence and failure to signal after a traffic stop at Mount Werner Road and Marketplace Plaza.

1:47 a.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to a request for an ambulance in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle where a reportedly intoxicated man fell and hit his head. Medical crews took the man to Yampa Valley Medical Center.

2:50 a.m. Police were called to a 911 hang-up call from the 2300 block of Après Ski Way. The phone was busy when dispatchers called back, and officers determined the original call was the result of phone problems.

7:38 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of sheep on the road on Routt County Road 27. Deputies called the owner of the sheep.

8:09 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a dog loose on C.R. 27. Animal control officers took the dog to the Steamboat Springs Animal Shelter.

8:11 a.m. Deputies were called to help a driver who had a flat tire on C.R. 42.

8:52 a.m. Hayden Police Department officers and West Routt Fire Protection District emergency responders were called to a request for an ambulance in the Hayden area.

9:10 a.m. Deputies were called to a complaint about a loose dog in the 33000 block of Catamount Drive. Animal control officers took the dog to the shelter.

9:12 a.m. Deputies were called to a complaint about two dogs loose at C.R. 22 and 179. Animal control officers took the dogs to the shelter.

9:36 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a theft in the 26000 block of C.R. 14. The person later called back and said they found the item. Everything was fine.

10:13 a.m. Police were called to a request for help on Anthony Circle. Police gave the person a courtesy ride to Mid Valley Drive.

10:31 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of cows on the road near mile marker 10 on C.R. 14. Deputies called the owner.

11:41 a.m. Police were called to a request for help in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue. A person needed a ride to the hospital but did not need an ambulance, so officers gave the person a courtesy ride.

11:51 a.m. Police were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash in a parking lot in the 3100 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

2:05 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a trespasser crossing private land on Agate Creek Road to get to the skatepark. Deputies issued a warning.

2:32 p.m. Police were called to a report of a loud motorcycle in the 3300 block of Columbine Drive. Officers determined the motorcycle was not licensed for highway riding, so they gave the driver a summons.

2:36 p.m. Police were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash in Central Park Plaza where a driver reportedly hit a shopping cart corral and knocked it into another car, causing minor damage.

2:52 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue and police were called to a report of a fire alarm in the 1400 block of Bob Adams Drive.

3:48 p.m. Police were called to a cold report of a bicycle stolen from a Steamboat Springs Transit bus. A person reported that the bike was stolen several weeks ago but was seen in town recently.

3:54 p.m. Police were called to a report of a protection order violation in Central Park Plaza where a man reportedly was yelling across a parking lot at another person. Officers arrested the 34-year-old Steamboat Springs man on suspicion of harassment and violation of a protection order. The case was later dismissed.

9:51 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a disagreement between two people in Routt County. One person left the area, and everything was fine.

10:47 p.m. Deputies were called to help a driver who hit a deer on U.S. Highway 40. The person was not injured, and the case was referred to Colorado State Patrol troopers.

11:16 p.m. Police were called to a report of a fight at Eighth Street and Lincoln Avenue. Everything was quiet when officers arrived.

11:22 p.m. Deputies were called to help a person who ran out of gas in Milner. Deputies gave the person a courtesy ride to get gas.

11:31 p.m. Police were called to a complaint about a barking dog in the 600 block of Yahmonite Street. The person did not want to sign a complaint, so officers put a tag on the dog owner’s door.

11:35 p.m. Police were called to a report of an intoxicated man walking in the 600 block of Yampa Street. When officers arrived, the man was gone, and dispatchers called back the person who reported it. The reporting person told dispatchers they were giving the intoxicated man a ride home.
