Steamboat briefs: Youth volleyball camp sign-up deadline Friday

Steamboat Springs High School girls volleyball coach Wendy Hall will offer a volleyball camp for rising fourth-, fifth- and sixth-graders. The camp runs from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday and Wednesday at Steamboat Springs Middle School.

The camp will focus on basic skills and turning young girls on to volleyball. In addition to Hall’s instruction, several high school players will attend to help.

Registration forms are available in the Strawberry Park and Soda Creek elementary school offices. The deadline to register is Friday.

The camp costs $25 and includes a shirt. For more information call Hall at 871-3548.

Hahn’s Peak Museum is opening for season June 12

The Hahn’s Peak Museum & Schoolhouse will be open from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The museum will be open seven days a week for the season starting June 12.
