Former mayor sued after reported stun during arrest

The Oak Creek Town Board will meet with insurance lawyers in executive session today to discuss the ongoing lawsuit with former mayor Kathy “Cargo” Rodeman. Rodeman was arrested in July 2008 on suspicion of driving under the influence. Rodeman sued the town and two of its former officers.

Routt County commissioners to review food service regulations

Meeting spurred by Sweet Pea compliance issue

County commissioners and environmental health officials are meeting today to discuss the civil penalty process for violations of state regulations for food service establishments. It’s a discussion spurred by an ongoing compliance issue at a downtown Steamboat Springs restaurant.
