Tennis tournament is July 23 to 25

The Steamboat Tennis Association and the Tennis Center at Steamboat’s Sum­mer Championships and Fund­raiser is July 23 through 25. The registration deadline is 3 p.m. July 20. Call the Tennis Center at 970-879-8400 for information.

A dinner party and live auction at Catamount Lakehouse Restaurant is July 25.

Adult day services offered at The Haven in Hayden

The Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association is offering adult day services at The Haven Assisted Living Center in Hayden, for any disabled individual older than 18 or elderly individual who is looking for daily activities where oversight is provided.

Services are provided from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Meals, medication administration, activities, assistance with bathing and wellness assessments are available.

Library card holders can download books from site

Residents with a Windows 7, 32-bit or 64-bit computer now can download audio books. The books are available through the Bud Werner Memorial Library’s new audio book platform, NetLibrary. Library card holders can go to the library’s website at http://www.steamboatlibrary.org/opacdownloadablemedia.html to create an account and download the software.

Respite Program seeking care providers for families

The Yampa Valley Autism Program is seeking care providers for its Respite Program.

Respite Program care providers are made available to families of children with autism spectrum disorders and related disabilities for hire to help as needed. Care providers also can participate in programs such as Kids’ Night Out.

The Yampa Valley Autism Program is looking for individuals that have experience with children of special needs. CPR and first aid certifications can be provided if not certified.

An hourly rate is provided to all caregivers.

Yampatika seeks sponsors for its summer programs

Yampatika, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to inspire environmental stewardship through education, seeks sponsors for its summer programs.

Environmental education programs reach youth ages 5 to 14 through summer camps and adults through weekly hikes and adult field schools.
