Steamboat briefs: We Love Steamboat event honors 6 contest winners

Steamboat Springs The Steamboat Springs Chamber Resort Association handed out awards to winners of its We Love Steamboat contest last week. Mike Martin won the $10,000 first-place prize for his video, and Brian Ferguson won $2,000 for his second-place video.
Noah Wetzel won the $3,000 first-place prize for his photo, and Lynne Garell won the $1,000 second-place prize.
Laura Sturges Cusenbary won the $3,000 first-place prize for her story, and “Browneyedgirl” won the $1,000 second-place prize.
The winning entries are posted on the Chamber’s page on Facebook.
Routt County Roadhouse opens today at The Grand
The Routt County Roadhouse, owned by David McCarble, is scheduled to open today at The Steamboat Grand.
Board of Realtors offers renewable scholarships
The Steamboat Springs Board of Realtors is awarding renewable college scholarships to past Board of Realtors scholarship recipients. Visit the board’s website at www.ssbr.org for application guidelines, or call Jody at 879-4663, ext. 11. The deadline to apply is July 16.
