Steamboat briefs: Food preservation demo Saturday during farmers market

Steamboat Springs — A food preservation demonstration will be from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Mainstreet Farmers Market.
Master food safety advisers will demonstrate how to properly can and dehydrate foods at the Routt County Extension kitchen in the Courthouse Annex, next to the Mainstreet Farmers Market.
Bring a pressure canner and advisers will test it for safety. For more information, contact the Routt County Extension Office at 970-879-0825.
