12:34 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of an argument between a man and a woman at the bus stop near Dream Island Plaza. Officers gave one of the people a courtesy ride.

12:50 a.m. Police were called to a report of a burglary alarm in the 600 block of Marketplace Plaza. Everything was fine.

5:51 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a one-car crash on Routt County Road 27, one mile from U.S. Highway 40. The car was off the road, and there were no injuries.

6:47 a.m. Colorado Division of Wildlife officers received a report of a bear at River Queen Lane and Burgess Creek Road.

7:43 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of three dogs running loose in the 21000 block of Maricopa Trail south of Stagecoach.

8:18 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders and police were called to a report of a fire alarm in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue. Everything was fine.

10:10 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a possibly intoxicated person stumbling on the side of the U.S. 40 near mile marker 120. No more information was available.

10:21 a.m. Police were called to a report of a suspicious incident in Steamboat Springs where a man reported receiving a threatening e-mail.

11:07 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of people being unsafe on ATVs near Milner. Deputies warned the people.

12:18 p.m. Police were called to a report of found property. A bicycle, one of two reportedly stolen July 4, was found and returned to its owner.

12:38 p.m. Police were called to a report of a suspicious person at a business in the 2400 block of Lincoln Avenue. The man reportedly was acting paranoid and claimed he was a federal agent. The man had left the business 20 minutes before the incident was reported, and officers could not find him.

1:01 p.m. Police were called to a report of a pug running in fresh asphalt on Bear Drive.

2:09 p.m. Police got a report of two bicycles reportedly stolen from an alley in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue on July 3.

2:32 p.m. Police were called to a report of a black lab that entered a house in the 400 block of Eighth Street. The dog reportedly was friendly but would not leave the house. Animal control officers took the dog to the Steamboat Springs Animal Shelter.

2:45 p.m. North and West Routt Fire Protection District emergency responders, Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue and deputies were called to a report of an ATV crash in North Routt County. Medical crews took a 55-year-old woman to Yampa Valley Medical Center.

4:47 p.m. Police got a cold report of a sexual assault. Through an out-of-town advocate, a woman reported that she was sexually assaulted while visiting Steamboat on the weekend of June 27. Detectives are investigating, and no more details were available.

4:52 p.m. Police received a report at the police department of a harassment. Police later arrested a 30-year-old Steamboat man on suspicion of driving with a canceled license and harassment.

5:44 p.m. Police were called to a request to check on a man pushing a shopping cart on U.S. 40 near Dream Island Plaza. Officers talked to the man, and everything was fine.

5:45 p.m. Police were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash in the 2400 block of Pine Grove Circle.

6:46 p.m. Police were called to a complaint of cars parked illegally in the 1600 block of Mount Werner Road.

7:46 p.m. Police were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 2000 block of Trollhaugen Court. A man reported that he heard people talking in a neighbor’s unit that was supposed to be unoccupied. The incident is an ongoing problem.

8:19 p.m. Hayden Police Department officers and deputies were called to a report of a juvenile situation in Hayden.

8:32 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of three horses on the road near mile marker 22 on C.R. 129. Deputies called the owner.

10:24 p.m. Police were called to a report of a bear in the 400 block of Yahmonite Street. The bear ran off when dogs started barking, and it was gone when officers arrived.

10:45 p.m. Police were called to a report of possible argument between a man and a woman in the 2300 block of Après Ski Way. Officers determined the noise was from a group of teenagers in a hot tub in a neighboring property. Everything was fine.

11:17 p.m. Police were called to a report of a suspicious car at the base of Howelsen Hill. Officers found a group of people playing volleyball after dark and asked them to leave.

11:39 p.m. Police were called to a report of a dog running in traffic at Seventh Street and Logan Avenue. The dog was gone when officers arrived.
