Steamboat Briefs: Steamboat Art Museum shop seeks local pieces

Steamboat Springs The Steamboat Art Museum gift shop is seeking work by local artists and craftspeople. The shop sells artist work on a consignment basis. Proceeds help support the Art Museum. Unframed paintings, prints, drawings or photography as well as hand-crafted works such as jewelry, pottery, textiles and high-quality craft items are welcome.

Newborn Network offering resources to local families
Newborn Network is a support system dedicated to providing parenting and resource information to all families who live in Routt County and have children from birth to age 3. Newborn Network’s free services include weekly networking and education groups, parenting education home visits, a lending library of parenting topics and a series of gift bags. Parents of a child ages 3 and younger can call 970-879-0977 for more information about support services.
