1:44 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to a request for an ambulance in Steamboat Springs. A 24-year-old woman was taken to the hospital and died. Officers said the death was possibly the result of a drug overdose, but an autopsy is planned for today.

9:06 a.m. Police were called to a request for a welfare check in the 2200 block of Val d’Isere Circle. Officers talked to the person, and everything was fine.

11:32 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a one-car crash on Routt County Road 179, near Creek Ranch Road, where a car slid into a ditch. There were no injuries.

12:14 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of an accident in the first block of Lincoln Street in Yampa where a town snow plow driver reportedly hit a man who was blowing snow on a sidewalk. The man reportedly had minor injuries and was taken to the hospital by private car. Deputies are investigating.

1:29 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue and police were called to a report of a fire alarm in the 2300 block of Après Ski Way. Everything was fine.

3:07 p.m. Police were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue where someone reported that a person was looking into cars along the street. The person was gone when officers arrived.

3:12 p.m. Police were called to a report of fraud in the 1100 block of Mountain Village Circle where a person reported that he or she was getting strange e-mails possibly generated by an online apartment rental service. No money was lost.

5:26 p.m. Police stopped to help a driver at Pine Grove Road and South Lincoln Avenue.

5:36 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a suspicious incident near mile marker 115 on U.S. Highway 40 where a semitrailer reportedly was leaking fluid.

6:07 p.m. Police stopped to help a driver at Walton Creek Road and Eagleridge Drive where a semitrailer was stopped. The driver reportedly was lost, and officers gave him directions.

6:19 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a fire alarm in the 42000 block of First Cast Trail. Everything was fine.

6:25 p.m. Police were called to a report of a drunken driver at C.R. 129 and Lincoln Avenue where a woman reportedly was driving without her lights on and swerving into oncoming traffic. The car was gone when officers arrived.

6:28 p.m. Police were called to a report of theft in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue where a woman reported that several credit cards stolen from a locker were used at businesses across town, and charges totaled several hundred dollars.

9:16 p.m. Police were called to a report of a hit-and-run crash at Yahmonite and Merritt streets.

10:26 p.m. Deputies were called to a request for help near mile marker 10 on C.R. 14.
