■ Cajun dinner — Hayden Valley Elementary School cafeteria, 5 to 8 p.m.
Come celebrate Fat Tuesday with a Cajun dinner. Dinner is $10 for adults and $5 for seniors and children 12 and younger. Dinner for families costs $30, and children 5 and younger eat for free. Proceeds go to Hayden High School athletics. Call 276-2756 for more information. 300 Breeze Basin, Hayden.
■ Mardi Gras party — Sunpie’s Bistro, 5 p.m. to close

The Infamous Stringdusters perform
■ The Infamous Stringdusters — Ghost Ranch Saloon, 9 p.m.
A band of six bluegrass-fed pickers from New York, Colorado and points between, The Infamous Stringdusters have spent the past three years moving away from their newgrass roots to create a sound that’s as much jazz, rock, blues or any other American music as it is bluegrass. Jes Grew is a rock and funk band featuring Cameron Williams, of Southern rock outfit Tishamingo. Officially a six-piece, the band includes four vocalists, a saxophone player and a keyboardist. ■ Warsaw Poland Bros. — The Tugboat Grill & Pub, 10 p.m.
Warsaw Poland Bros. plays high-energy music for drinking and dancing.
