3:56 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders and Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a request for an ambulance in the 1700 block of Medicine Springs Drive. A 30-year-old man reported extreme abdominal pain and sickness, and medical crews took him to Yampa Valley Medical Center.
7:27 a.m. Police were called to a report of a Steamboat Springs Transit bus blocking traffic at Lincoln Avenue and Fifth Street. The bus was broken down, and maintenance was on the way.
7:51 a.m. Police received a report of fraud at the police station in the 800 block of Yampa Street. A person reported that a credit card had been used without permission. No value was available, and police are investigating.
8:11 a.m. Police were called to a report of a burglary alarm in the 900 block of Strings Road. Construction workers had set off the alarm, and everything was fine.
8:46 a.m. Hayden Police Department officers were called to a report of theft in the 100 block of South Poplar Street.
12:52 p.m. Police were called to a complaint about an animal in the 1700 block of Lincoln Avenue. A person requested a live trap to catch a cat, and police provided it.
1:52 p.m. Police were called to a report of theft at Steamboat Ski Area, where a person reportedly used a ski pass that belonged to someone else. Officers issued a ticket.
3:05 p.m. Police were called to a report of a one-car crash in the 100 block of Park Avenue, where a van reportedly backed into a wall. There were no injuries.
4:05 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a complaint about a small dog loose on Routt County Road 14. The dog was gone when deputies arrived.
5:09 p.m. Deputies were called to a complaint about a car that reportedly drove through a school bus stop sign on U.S. Highway 40 near mile marker 117, west of Milner.
6:09 p.m. Police were called to a noise complaint at Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue, where a man was reportedly yelling at his mother outside. Officers mediated the dispute.
8:56 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue and deputies were called to a fire alarm in the 37000 block of C.R. 14. Someone cooking had reportedly set off the alarm, and everything was fine.
