Prints, paintings, sculpture, ceramic work and other styles of art will be highlighted at 25 downtown galleries, restaurants and retailers during today’s First Friday Artwalk.
Receptions are scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. Many galleries will stay open for an extra hour or so to accommodate crowds lingering downtown after the Olympic send-off celebration scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. on the Routt County Courthouse lawn. Admission to all events is free; several venues plan to offer refreshments. See a map of participating locations at www.steamboatspringsartwalk.com.
