Steamboat Springs The Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club freestyle mogul team picked up multiple top finishes at a Rocky Mountain Open mogul event in Breckenridge during the weekend.
The Sports Club had three of the top five finishers in single moguls and the top seven in dual moguls.
“Things have gone very well,” said Eddie Keiser, Winter Sports Club ability freestyle coach. “I’d have to say as a Club, we’re one of the strongest contenders out there.”
Ryan Dyer led in singles moguls, finishing first overall. Luke Farny finished third, and Nick Didomenico Jr. finished fourth.
In dual moguls, Farny finished first, John Eaton finished second, and Andree Lane finished third.
Bo Randolph, Bennett Roukema, Ryan Parkinson and Matt Robertson finished fourth through seventh, respectively.
The mogul skiers will take this week off to train with the U.S. mogul team before returning to action Feb. 12 and 13 in Telluride. The Telluride event will mark the halfway point of the season.
