Steamboat briefs: Discounted Pro Rodeo series season passes on sale through Sunday

Steamboat Springs — Discounted Steamboat Pro Rodeo series season passes are on sale until Sunday at F.M. Light & Sons, All That Jazz and the Steamboat Springs Chamber Resort Association.
The passes include 18 performances plus four buddy passes and aren’t valid for July 4 weekend. Visit www.steamboatprorodeo.com.
MusicFest at Steamboat to restrict Knoll Parking Lot
Starting Sunday the MusicFest at Steamboat tent will be erected in the north portion of Steamboat Ski Area’s Knoll Parking Lot for special events during January.
The tent will remain in the northwest portion of the parking lot through Jan. 13. The closed portion of the lot is expected to be available for parking Jan. 14. The lower Knoll Parking Lot on Mount Werner Circle, across from the Gondola Transit Center, also will be closed for event purposes.
The resort will continue to offer free parking in the south half of the upper Knoll Parking Lot and Meadows Parking Lot. Paid parking is available in the Gondola Square parking structure.
In addition, Steamboat Ski and Resort Corp. noted in a news release, Steamboat Springs Transit offers free bus transportation to Gondola Transit Center, downtown and most condominium locations.
