12:09 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies assisted emergency responders with a 56-year-old man who was having chest pains.

1:34 a.m. A woman reported her vehicle had been damaged at a parking lot in the 3100 block of Lincoln Avenue.

3:51 a.m. A Steamboat Springs Police Department officer found a backpack in an alley in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue.

5:55 a.m. A woman reported her unlocked vehicle had been broken into in the 2900 block of West Acres Drive and CDs and other items were taken. Police found two other cars they think had been broken into.

8:42 a.m. A woman reported her purse had been stolen from a bar in the first block of Seventh Street. Someone accidentally had taken the woman’s purse and returned it.

10:52 a.m. Police responded to a two-vehicle, noninjury crash in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza.

12:13 p.m. A woman found an injured cat and took it to Steamboat Springs Animal Shelter.

12:16 p.m. Police responded to a report of people causing a traffic hazard while viewing elk near Walton Creek and Whistler roads. Colorado Division of Wildlife officers scared the elk away.

12:56 p.m. Police responded to a hotel in the 700 block of South Lincoln Avenue where a long-term guest was being uncooperative and was asked to leave. The person left.

1:09 p.m. A woman reported that a vehicle was doing doughnuts in a parking lot in the 2400 block of Pine Grove Road and almost hit a shuttle. The vehicle was gone when police arrived.

1:32 p.m. Deputies responded to a vehicle that had slid off the road near mile marker 128 on U.S. Highway 40.

1:54 p.m. A man driving a semitrailer in the 700 block of South Lincoln Avenue was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

2:06 p.m. Deputies responded to a report of a semitrailer that slid off Routt County Road 129.

2:35 p.m. Police responded to a two-vehicle, noninjury crash in the 2100 block of Pine Grove Road.

3:44 p.m. Routt County Search and Rescue volunteers were paged to help find a lost snowmobiler in North Routt County. The person was found Thursday morning.

3:50 p.m. Police responded to Pine Grove Road and U.S. 40 where a vehicle slid off the road and hit a boulder.

3:54 p.m. A man reported to deputies that a package had been stolen from a mailbox in the 29000 block of Elk View Court.

3:57 p.m. Police responded to the Bud Werner Memorial Library parking lot for a three-vehicle, noninjury crash. A person was issued a ticket for unsafe backing.

4:19 p.m. Deputies responded to a one-car, noninjury rollover near mile marker 112 on U.S. 40.

8:59 p.m. Police assisted a woman whose 17-year-old son had run away from home. Police located the boy.

9:43 p.m. A cell phone was found in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Road, and police returned it to its owner.

10:37 p.m. Deputies responded to Clark where an 18-year-old woman’s small vehicle had been run off the road by a aggressive person driving a large SUV. The woman was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center as a precaution.

11:15 p.m. A person complained of loud music at Whistler Village Townhomes.

11:28 p.m. Deputies responded to near mile marker 138 on U.S. 40 where a car hit a deer. No one was injured.
