12:37 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers responded to a report of domestic violence in Steamboat Springs. A man reported seeing a physical altercation between a man and a woman, probably both intoxicated. Police said no injuries were reported but had no further information Wednesday afternoon.

1:41 a.m. Police responded to a report of an intoxicated pedestrian in Torian Plum Plaza. Police contacted an intoxicated female. Everything was fine.

2:17 a.m. Police assisted a motorist in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court. Police said security at the Sheraton Steamboat Resort reported two vehicles with lights on in the parking garage.

7:08 a.m. Police assisted a motorist who ran out of gas at Fourth Street and Lincoln Avenue. A code enforcement officer stood by until the vehicle was running again.

7:40 a.m. Vandalism was reported at a Steamboat Springs Transit stop on U.S. Highway 40 at Riverside Plaza. One of the shelter’s windows was broken. Police took a report.

7:50 a.m. An ambulance was requested in Steamboat. Police said a 41-year-old woman with a migraine was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center.

8:39 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury crash was reported in the 900 block of Weiss Drive.

9:51 a.m. Police responded to a report of theft in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle. Police said Steamboat Ski and Resort Corp. security contacted a male and a female for unauthorized use of ski passes. Police issued each a citation for theft.

10:51 a.m. Police responded to an animal complaint in the 2900 block of Après Ski Way where a white, husky-like dog was loose. Police took the dog to Steamboat Springs Animal Shelter. The owner picked up the dog later in the day and was ticketed for having a dog at large.

1:21 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury crash was reported at Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue.

2:31 p.m. Police responded to a report of a gas skip on South Lincoln Avenue. Police said a black SUV left a gas station without paying for gas worth $42. Police had no license plate information.

3:05 p.m. A collision between two skiers was reported at Steamboat Ski Area.

3:56 p.m. Lost property was found on South Lincoln Avenue. Police said an ID card was found at a liquor store. Police took the card for safekeeping.

4:22 p.m. A disturbance was reported at the base of Mount Werner at Steamboat Ski Area. Police said the incident stemmed from a near-collision on the slopes. People involved in the incident later met at the ski base and had an altercation. Police said pushing and shoving occurred but no one wanted to pursue criminal charges. Ski Corp. security and police mediated the situation.

6:02 p.m. Police assisted a motorist at U.S. Highway 40 and Anglers Drive.

8:46 p.m. Police responded to a disturbance reported in the 1700 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police issued warnings to people arguing in the parking lot of a business.

10:03 p.m. Police responded to a noise complaint in the 500 block of Ore House Plaza.

11:03 p.m. Police responded to a report of an intoxicated pedestrian in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.

11:10 p.m. Police assisted a motorist at Walton Creek and Whistler roads.

11:31 p.m. Police responded to an animal complaint in Steamboat.

11:50 p.m. Police responded to a report of a suspicious incident in Steamboat. Police said someone heard pounding on the inside of a door at a residence where domestic violence had been a concern. Police mediated the situation, issued a spoken warning for the noise and then issued a citation for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
