Steamboat Springs — Youth scholarships for the Steamboat Symphony Orch­estra’s Education Programs are due Tuesday.

Youths younger than 20 may apply for a scholarship to participate in youth orchestra, string ensemble and cello choir.

Oak Creek seeks gear for new cross-country program

Oak Creek is seeking donations of good used cross-country ski equipment and snowshoes for the town’s new cross-country ski project.

Dance studio is accepting registrations for 2010-11

Elevation Dance is accepting registrations for the 2010-11 session. Classes are available for dancers ages 3 to adult in ballet, hip-hop, jazz, tap, contemporary, belly dance, Irish, Texas three-step and Zumba.

The studio’s dance recital is May 21 at Steamboat Springs High School; the deadline to register for the recital is Jan. 31.

Colorado Mountain College spring registration is open

Registration is now open for Colorado Mountain College’s Alpine Campus spring semester, which starts Jan. 17. Additional classes start throughout the semester.

Students who have taken classes in the past 12 months can register online, by phone, mail or fax.

New students or those who haven’t taken classes in the past 12 months can apply and register in person, or apply online and fax or mail a registration form.
