— Martin Dragnev, a member of the Steamboat Springs Board of Realtors and National Association of Realtors, has joined Colorado Group Realty as a broker/associate.

A graduate of the University of Economics in Varna, Bulgaria, Dragnev has studied all facets of the real estate industry, working in a team environment during his two years as a licensed broker/assistant with Joy Rasmussen, broker/owner. In 2009, Dragnev was selected to be a member of Leadership Steamboat, a yearlong educational program that fosters young professionals who become experts in Steamboat’s economy and business. Dragnev also has specialized in helping young couples and families through the process of buying their first home, and he has received the Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource Designation, giving him the experience to professionally navigate this challenging process.

“I am excited to be a part of Colorado Group Realty, working as a full-time broker/associate. The encouragement I’ve received from the team of brokers during the last two years has been invaluable, and I look forward to assisting clients in the many opportunities real estate has to offer,” Dragnev said.

He works in the downtown office at 509 Lincoln Ave., or call 970-291-9412.

Colorado Group Realty honors top performers

Once a year, Colorado Group Realty internally gives three awards to brokers who show leadership and strength within the firm.

The Rising Star Award is given to a broker or brokers who are new to Colorado Group and have made an outstanding contribution to the company in a short period of time.

This year’s recipients are Eliese Pivarnik and Bo and Sue Stempel. They joined Colorado Group Realty in 2008.

“Eliese offers an outstanding e-marketing approach to her business, which has allowed her to capitalize on the increasingly important Internet approach to real estate, and her professionalism allows her to continue to succeed,” board member Scott Wither said. “Bo and Sue bring a dynamic team approach that allows them to cover all aspects of the real estate process and their warm, knowledgeable style makes that process comforting to their clients.”

The Top Producer award was presented to Jon Wade.

“Jon’s professionalism, knowledge and service level are excellent, while his ability to communicate well with his clients sets him apart from other realtors,” Wither said. “Jon continues to set a very high standard for the rest of the brokers in Colorado Group Realty to strive for, and he is always looking for new, innovative ways to achieve his client’s goals.”

The Broker of the Year award went to Randall Hannaway. This honor is bestowed upon a person who makes superior contributions of time, energy and efforts.

“Randall, one of the founding members of Colorado Group Realty, dedicates tremendous amounts of energy to the company, not only as a broker and owner, but also serving on the board of directors,” Wither said. “His forward-thinking ideas, hard work and outgoing personality make working with Randall a true pleasure.”
