Steamboat’s Over The Hill Gang is offering free daily guided tours of the ski area. Meet outside of Bear River Bar & Grill in Gondola Square at 8:45 a.m. The tour departs at 9 a.m. The group primarily skis on intermediate and advanced trails. All skiers 50 and older are encouraged to take part. An Over the Hill Gang happy hour is at 3:30 p.m. Tuesdays at Ptarmigan Inn. Call Frank Dolman at 970-870-8793 with questions.

Steamboat Art Museum is in need of volunteers

The Steamboat Art Museum needs volunteers to help in its exhibit galleries and gift shop. Volunteers work two hours a week and may be asked to greet visitors, give informal tours, help with clerical work and conduct sales in the museum gift shop. Digital natives with a Win­dows 7, 32-bit or 64-bit computer can download audio books through the Bud Werner Memorial Library’s NetLibrary. Library cardholders can go to the library’s website at www.steamboatlibrary.org/opacdown loadablemedia.html to create an account and download the software onto their computers. French-speaking volunteers are sought to help residents

French-speaking volunteers are needed to assist to non-English-speaking residents of Steamboat Springs. Call Anna at 970-870-3069.

Children’s book club kits are available at library

Children can start their own kids’ book clubs with Bud Wer­ner Memorial Library’s Book Buzz Kits. Each kit contains eight paperback copies of books and discussion questions for a variety of titles for boys and girls ages 7 to 12. Kits can be checked out for six weeks. They can be reserved up to three months in advance by calling the children’s library at 970-879-0240, ext. 314.

Steamboat Springs Little League seeks donations

Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association’s Women’s Health Clinic is offering free IUDs, Nuvaring and Implanon.
