Pine Creek jumped out to a 1-0 lead before Steamboat took over.
Skyler Martin tied the game at 1-all and Ben Wharton gave the Sailors a 2-1 lead late in the first period.
Grant McCannon and Jake Bearss added second period goals to make it 4-1, while Christian Ramirez scored midway through the third to make it 5-1.
