Steamboat briefs: Deadline has been extended to enter gingerbread houses

Telluride Merry Mainstreet, a downtown holiday celebration, is from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday on Lincoln Avenue. As part of the celebration, there will be a gingerbread house tour. The deadline had been extended to Saturday for those interested in entering a gingerbread house. Participants must call Mainstreet Steamboat Springs at 970-846-1800 to register their house and receive your display location. Registration forms also are online at www.mainstreet
steamboatsprings.com, under events. Houses will be on display from Saturday through the holidays.
Colorado Mountain College spring registration is open
Registration is open for Colorado Mountain College’s Alpine Campus spring semester, which starts Jan. 17. Additional classes start during the semester.
Students who have taken classes in the past 12 months can register online, by phone, mail or fax. New students or those who haven’t taken classes in the past 12 months can apply and register in person, or apply online and fax or mail a registration form.
