2:30 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Depart­ment officers stopped to talk to a man sitting on a bench at 11th Street and Lincoln Avenue. The man was fine and was going to walk home.

3:48 a.m. Police were called to a report of a disturbance in the 1300 block of Sparta Plaza. A person reported hearing shouting and banging. Nobody answered the door when officers arrived, and a neighbor reported the people left the house.

6:56 a.m. Police were called to a complaint about loud music in the 500 block of Ore House Plaza. The person who reported the noise called to say it was quiet before officers arrived.

7:46 a.m. Police were called to a complaint about a dog loose in Moraine Circle. The issue is an ongoing problem, and officers gave the dog’s owner on Steamboat Boulevard a warning.

8:03 a.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to a report of a one-car slide-off crash in the 600 block of South Lincoln Avenue. There were no injuries.

11:26 a.m. Police were called to a report of fraud in the 200 block of Caribou Lane. A person reported they suspected someone is using their Social Security number, but no money was taken.

12:47 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a semitrailer that slid off the road near mile marker 145 on U.S. Highway 40. There were no injuries.

12:50 p.m. Police were called to a complaint about a dog loose in the 400 block of Gilpin Street.

1:18 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a collision between two skiers on Ego Trail at Steamboat Ski Area. There were no injuries.

3:21 p.m. Police were called to a complaint about an apparently underfed cat on a porch in the 1100 block of Saratoga Avenue. The caller fed the cat, and animal control officers took it to the Steamboat Springs Animal Shelter.

5:20 p.m. Deputies and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue were called to a report of a burglary in the 31000 block of Shoshone Way, in the Stagecoach area. A door reportedly was kicked in, but there was no other damage.

5:41 p.m. Deputies and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue were called to a report of a car with a blown engine in the 27000 block of U.S. Highway 40.

7:48 p.m. Police were called to a burglary alarm in the 1800 block of Curve Plaza. It was a false alarm.

10:29 p.m. Deputies and Oak Creek Police Department officers were called to a report of two people arguing in the 100 block of West Virginia Street in Oak Creek.
