12:45 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders and Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a request for an ambulance in the Steamboat Springs area. A man in his 40s reportedly was drunk and fell down stairs, knocking him unconscious. Medical crews took the man to Yampa Valley Medical Center.

12:55 a.m. Police arrested a 54-year-old Steamboat man on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs, defective lamps, no proof of insurance, weaving and no license plate lamp after a traffic stop at Eagleridge Drive and Mount Werner Road.

1:59 a.m. Police were called to a report of a suspicious car in the 1600 block of Mount Werner Road.

3:35 a.m. Police were called to a complaint about a barking dog at 12th and Oak streets. The dog was quiet when officers arrived.

8:17 a.m. Police stopped to help a driver at Pine Grove Road and South Lincoln Avenue.

9:09 a.m. Police were called to a report of a theft in the 2300 block of Ski Trail Lane. Somebody reportedly cut down an evergreen tree from a yard, apparently to use as a Christmas tree. There are no suspects.

10:37 a.m. Police and Colorado Division of Wildlife officers were called to a report of a moose near Central Park Drive and Steamboat Boulevard. People reportedly were getting too close to the animal.

10:44 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a minor car crash in the 1900 block of Shield Drive.

12:23 p.m. Police were called to a complaint about a one-car slide-off at Mount Werner Road and Resort Drive. There was no damage.

5:40 p.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue were called to a report of a carbon monoxide or gas alarm in the 400 block of Eighth Street. It was a false alarm.

5:45 p.m. Deputies stopped to help a driver with a disabled car near mile marker 128 on U.S. Highway 40. A tow truck was on the way.

6:09 p.m. Deputies were asked to check on a person in the 200 block of Wild Hogg Drive in Oak Creek. There was a verbal argument, but the situation was mediated.

7:44 p.m. Deputies stopped to help a driver with a one-car slide-off on Routt County Road 16.

7:45 p.m. Police and deputies were called to a report of a person camping in the 27000 block of C.R. 18.

9:30 p.m. Deputies were called to a disturbance in the 1800 block of Huckleberry Lane. Two people were arguing, and one person left the area.
