Rove spoke Friday evening to 307 people as part of The Steamboat Institute’s Freedom Conference at the top of the gondola in Steamboat Springs.

1:43 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to reports of a suspicious person at Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue. Officers saw a man hiding on the lower level of Old Town Square. The man was intoxicated, and police took him to detox.
