Q. When did you move to Routt County, and what brought you here?

A. 1990, was dating a traveling ski bum. Saw the valley, he left and I stayed.



Q. What’s the biggest risk you’ve taken recently?

A. Giving up my cleaning business of eight years to follow more dreams, it paid off!

Q. Describe your morning routine.

A. 6:30 wake up, get daughter going, computer time, breakfast, chores and out the door at 8:15

Q. Has a book ever changed your life? What was it and why?

A. “The Man Who Listens to Horses,” by Monty Roberts. It taught me more about love and patience.

Q. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

A. Work hard and don’t give up on your dreams.

Q. What three things would you want people to know about you?

A. I love my family, horses and life.

Q. What did you want to be when you grew up?

A. A horse trainer

Q. Do you collect anything?

A. Antiques

Q. What was your first job?

A. Working in a feed and tack store, funny it’s also what I’m doing now.

Q. Do you have a tattoo? If so, what of and why did you choose it?

A. Yes, A flying dove with a rosebud in its beak. It reminds me of peace and serenity.

Q. Do you have any phobias?

A. Yes, heights and falling.

Q. If you could go back in time, to what event or time period would you go?

A. The early West, when you had small country towns, general stores and doctors that made house calls.

Q. What is your favorite thing to do in Routt County?

A. Getting involved and helping with community events.
