1:02 a.m. Police were called to a report of three drunken people walking from Kamar Plaza toward downtown Steamboat Springs. Officers talked to two women and one man who were intoxicated but OK.

6:32 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders and police were called to a report of a live power line on the ground on 11th Street between Pine and Oak streets. Emergency responders stayed until Yampa Valley Electric Association workers arrived to fix the line.

6:54 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a request for a welfare check on a man walking on U.S. Highway 40 near mile marker 140. Deputies gave the man a courtesy ride.

7:26 a.m. West Routt Fire Protection District emergency responders and deputies were called to a report of a car crash on Routt County Road 27 near Hayden.

7:53 a.m. Deputies were called to a one-car rollover near mile marker 10 on C.R. 129. There were no injuries.

7:56 a.m. Deputies and West Routt Fire were called to a report of a car crash on C.R. 27.

8:12 a.m. Colorado State Patrol troopers, deputies and West Routt Fire were called to a report of a two-car crash near mile marker 115 on U.S. 40. An eastbound truck, driven by a 44-year-old Craig woman, reportedly slid across the road at a curve. A westbound truck hauling a trailer, driven by a 49-year-old Steamboat man, swerved to avoid the other truck. The two cars sideswiped, and the eastbound truck hit the trailer. Medical crews took the woman to Yampa Valley Medical Center with minor injuries. Troopers issued the woman a ticket for careless driving.

9:23 a.m. Police were called to a complaint about a loose dog in the 300 block of Little Moon Trail. Officers took a collie mix to the Steamboat Springs Animal Shelter.

10:08 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a power line down near mile marker 122 on U.S. 40.

10:26 a.m. West Routt Fire was called to a request for an ambulance.

10:53 a.m. Police were called to a report of a one-car rollover at Amethyst Drive and Concordia Lane, where a car tipped onto its side after sliding on the icy road. There were no injuries.

10:55 a.m. Police were called to a two-car, noninjury crash between a Steamboat Springs Transit bus and a car. The car had to be towed.

11:13 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a one-car crash near mile marker 144 on U.S. 40. There were no injuries.

12:41 p.m. Hayden Police Department officers were called to a report of harassment in Hayden.

12:59 p.m. Police were called to a report of unauthorized use of a ski pass at the ski area. The person was reportedly uncooperative. Officers arrested the 38-year-old Minnesota man on suspicion of false reporting and theft.

1:25 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash in the 1900 block of Shield Drive.

2:54 p.m. Police were called to a report of unauthorized use of a ski pass at the ski area and issued a man a ticket.

3:31 p.m. Police were called to a report of an intoxicated skier at the ski area. The man reportedly could not ski down the mountain and was taken down by ski patrollers in a toboggan. Officers then took the man to detox.

5:35 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a jack-knifed semi near mile marker 142 on U.S. 40. There were no injuries.

6:30 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a one-car slide-off crash near mile marker 151 on U.S. 40. There were no injuries.

7:07 p.m. Hayden police were called to a report of a drunken pedestrian at Poplar Street and Washington Avenue.

7:58 p.m. Police saw a car with hazard lights blinking on Steamboat Boulevard. The car was broken down, but a tow truck was on the way and everything was fine.
