Gallery reopens in Lincoln Avenue location Friday

About 15 artists cleared the walls at the Steamboat Springs Center for Visual Arts on Monday and carried artwork across Lincoln Avenue to the gallery's new location. The nonprofit community art gallery reopens in its new space next to Steamboat Jewelers during the October First Friday Artwalk.

Soup Bowl Supper benefits suicide prevention group in 8th year

Potters and members of the Steamboat Clay Artisans put months of preparation each year into the group's annual community fundraiser, the Soup Bowl Supper. In its eighth year, the fundraiser - at 5:30 and 7 p.m. Wednesday - will benefit Reaching Everyone Preventing Suicide.
