I agree best trees and snow. Ranked # 238 in nighlife and small town feel.

Better enjoy the #1 tree rating while you got it-- considering the Beetle kill situation that won't be the factor in a few years.

not bad for a ski mountain base that's looks half outdated and half bombed out. we'll climb up the list eventually since we're near the top in actual skiing for a ski magazine.

Or SB may drop as readers that remember there being apres ski visit SB again and discover that was then.

Actually, beetle kill will probably help SB as the others will have no trees and SB will still have some aspen.

Scott- most of the reputable tree runs are pines and have you not seen the aspen disease that is all over the county?

Let's bulldoze a few more bars and restaurants and see how much nightlife we have. Then the city can continue to complain about the lack of tax revenue.

Hey mavis, take a lesson in forestry. Just because a tree has needles on it does not make it a pine tree. The Aspen blight comes and goes but does not necessarily kill the tree.

wow no kidding but there are hillsides full of DEAD aspens and pine trees waiting to spark becuase people were not responsible and taking care of their land or the public land. Too Many people are in denial
